This shirt is a beautiful classic design from adidas,featuring a strong neck design and different tones of red on the vertical stripes. It saw some sublime goals by Robbie Fowler (28 league goals and sporting a blond hairdo) and an impressive debut for Stan Collymore (scoring in his first home match against Sheffield Wednesday). It also saw the final season for Ian Rush, Liverpool’s all-time top goalscorer, who marked his last match with a brilliant strike, which helped relegate Man City, as the Reds ended the season third in the league—the last of 346 goals for Liverpool.
