This shirt is from Michael Owen's last full season at Liverpool. Since 1998, Owen had been Liverpool's top scorer every season until he left the club. Plagued by injuries. he was still top scorer with 19, scoring his 150th goal for Liverpool against Portsmouth in February, and led Liverpool to the fourth and final Champions League spot. The 2003-04 away shirt was also used as the third shirt in 2004-05. The red and navy flashes on the sides and shoulders of this white shirt work really well.
